About the author (2010)

Though I was raised in the sun, I come from a large Italian family with very strong ties to our heritage. I was born in Rome, NY and moved to Miami Florida December 1969 with my mother. Raised in South Florida, I attended school until 1983. Having two daughters from my first marriage, I remarried in 1995 and in 2004 moved to Tallahassee Florida where we currently reside. I am the owner of a paint and body shop and a member of NAPEW (National Association of Professional & Executive Woman 2007-2008). A love for cooking and a desire to share wonderful family traditions was put to paper to create this book. There have been so many people who have inspired me in my life, but know one has inspired me more then my mother. Many of the recipes in this book have been served many times over the years and enjoyed by family and friends. I am happy to share them all with you. I hope you enjoy every bite as they were all made with lots of love.
