A comprehensive review of the band's music to date. There is on reading it, little of Tobler's riting discernible, making it mostly the work of Andrew G Doe - who though an insider and fan - gives a reasonably objective perspective on the group. The turkeys are identified. The turn of phrase used throughout is slightly idiosyncratic, but never detracts from the enthusiasm they have for the music and the characters behind it. As a helpful introduction to the Beach Boys work, it is a must for fans and would be fans.
