About the author (2003)

Karen Wallace is the author of more than one hundred books for children, and the winner of several book awards. She was born in Canada and grew up in a log cabin in the woods of Quebec. She has also lived in France and Ireland, and has worked making pizzas, and singing in a cabaret and a bluegrass band. Writing is her favorite activity. Wallace says she has spent most of her life making up stories.

Michael Reid is a freelance writer, author, and photographer. His other projects include, the next books in this series, as well as venturing into other genres. Michael has enjoyed writing from a very young age, has written many short stories, as well as many reviews. Michael cares deeply for his family, and friends, also has a special place in his heart for his pets. Through his journeys and encounters has enjoyed meeting and learning about all different walks of life. He strives to help to encourage others, and always tries to see the best in people.
