Modern Discovery and the Bible
The author has set himself the task of showing that there is no conflict between the assured results of scientific discovery and Bible teaching. The first part of the book is concerned with the various theories of the origin of the universe and of man. Much interesting biological material is introduced. A chapter is then devoted to "The Bible and Modern Medical Knowledge," followed by a long section chiefly concerned with recent archaeological discovery and its relation to both the Old and New Testaments. - Jacket flap.
