Vaʻad Zinkov, 1966 - Holocaust, Jewish (1939-1945) - 255 pages
A memorial book in honor of the Jewish community of Zinkiv, in Southwestern Ukraine. Pp. 175-204 deal with the Holocaust period, mainly based on letters to the editors from Yehudit Weinblatt-Loyfer, one of the town's ca. 30 survivors. Weinblatt-Loyfer relates the fate of some of Zinkiv's 3,000 Jews at the hands of the Nazis, but does not mention when a ghetto was created, nor when the actions took place. Apparently most of the Jews were massacred in the town itself or its vicinity, and buried in a mass grave 1.5 kilometers away.
