it is especially enlightening the wonderful trick in order to search for a partial match for a text string in a range of cells, using "*"&[cell reference]&"*" for true partial matches. Just from this little trick itself, it shows to me that the author of the book is a guy who uses Excel truly powerfully and does not bulldoze through problems with programming within Excel if simpler methods are used.
