One thing that bugged me about this book is the mention of problems with imaginative play. That is not true! Actually, people with Asperger's tend to be VERY imaginative and creative. However, other people don't see this because they often don't use their imagination to play pretend - often they use it to daydream. It makes sense because in your mind, everything can be arranged perfectly, you can have as much material as you want, and you can do it anytime. But other people don't see their daydreams, so they conclude that Aspies aren't imaginative.
