This is my favorite Historical Romance Fiction Novel of all time. Mortman writes with a clarity seen in few other authors. Her prose is poetry and her poetry prose. This is a must add to any collection because it makes you believe in love, tests your faith, and moves you into the truth you are - vicariously.

A truly moving story.. Found it really engaging and it speaks of love, war, passion, music, family and hope. Read it long time ago and I guess it's for anyone who enjoys a love story with the backdrop of a war. Read full review
