A nice simple non wanky book that seems pretty much common sense. Not technical and implies that almost anyone can cover a marathon distance as long as they they follow a few basic rules and are not racing to bust some unrealistic time expectation. Read full review

About the author (2007)

Grete Waitz (1953–2011) is widely regarded as one of history’s greatest marathoners. She won the New York City Marathon a record nine times.
