About the author (1984)

Patricia Coen has written a multitude of self-help and home improvement guides over the years. As an associate editor for James Wagenvoord Studio, Coen contributed to such books as A Lover's Book, The Doubleday Wine Companion, Making Room, and Beat Insomnia. In 1984, Coen co-wrote the book Beautiful Braids, a step-by-step guide to hair braiding. She is also the author of the No-Nonsense Guide to Home Repairs series and Closets: Designing & Organizing the Personalized Closet with Bryan Milford.
