This is an absolutely amazing novel. Its vivid description of africa and the nature of the people there and the strong culture shock that this american family suffered. I would definately read this one again!

Its a powerfully told story about an Evangelical Christian family living in a small village in Africa. The novel is narrated by the wife and four daughters of the Reverend, Nathan Price.
