About the author (1989)

RICHARD J. LEWIS SR. is formerly Chief of Information Services for the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He is the author of the world-renowned references, Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials (now in a 10th Edition) and Hawley's Condensed Chemical Dictionary (13th Edition), as well as other titles available from Wiley.
