Taking readers from the glittery nightlife of Vegas to the mean, darkened streets of Chicago, Chasin' It is the story of Terri Parish, a showgirl, forger and drug king-pin's lover. Terri is also a man, a transvestite whose mannerisms, dress and style can fool just about anyone. When Terri, whose claim to fame is that of a former headliner in Vegas, leaves town to make it in bigger-time Chicago, she exposes herself to dangerous and difficult melodramas and soon faces the cold facts about herself and professional ambitions and dreams.
