Review: Lace in Fashion from the Sixteenth to the Twentieth Centuries

User Review  - Hester - Goodreads

This is a fairly academic history of lace. I read the first chapter dutifully, but then the book sucked me in. This is not the sort of book I should have wanted to read for fun, but the illustrations were fantastic and I desperately want to learn how to work a leavers machine. Read full review
