About the author (2001)

Robert Hashemian is an Internet and database software engineer living in Connecticut. He holds a B.S. in computer science and engineering from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
He became actively involved in trading stocks in 1995 and after a number of costly mistakes went on to educate himself in the world of money and markets. While Web programming and development is his chief passion, he has great interest in the financial markets. He is also an avid runner.
