Title as given by Google is inaccurate. This is from the 35th congress 1857.
The information about the special committee's banking investigation in the Panic of 1857 year is very interesting. It
makes me think about the 2008-2009 "Downturn" investigations by Congress. Lax banking laws are not good banking laws.
