The OGT Test in Reading and Writing is a requirement for graduation from high school throughout the state of Ohio. This manual provides extensive preparation for both parts of the test plus two full length practice tests in reading and two more in writing. All tests come with answer keys, scoring guides, and sample scored responses to help students analyze their own practice test scores. A general review offers advice on acquiring and expanding one's vocabulary, developing reading comprehension, and comprehending reading applications--informational, technical, and persuasive texts. The manual also provides extensive focus on improving writing skills for both the Short Answer and the Writing Prompt (long essay) sections of the Writing OGT.
