Perry Buffington, Ph.D. is a psychologist, author, lecturer, and media personality. His Cheap Psychological Tricks column is syndicated on the radio through Big River Radio and in print through Universal Press Syndicate. Buffington is the author of more than 200 articles and numerous books, including Cheap Psychological Tricks; Cheap Psychological Tricks for Lovers.

Jen Singh illustrated It Can't Be Done, Nellie Bly!, Cheap Psychological Tricks for Lovers and Cheap Psychological Tricks for Parents. She grew up in St. Joseph, Michigan, and studied illustration at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids. After graduation, she moved to Atlanta, where she has worked as an artist ever since. She now lives in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband and two cats.
