Born of guard dogs on a secret marijuana farm a sick tick-infested feral puppy was rescued by Steve Duno. Neither had a clue as to what they were getting into. This is the story of Lou a young Rottweiler mix who after abandoning his pack and the hills of his birth went on to change the lives of hundreds of people and dogs - including the author's whose career as a behaviorist and writer was made possible by Lou's intelligence and heart.

I was given this to read and loved it so much I have been gifting copies. Steve Duno took me on the journey of life with his beautiful pup Lou, that he picked up from the roadside and how Lou changed his life path and how Lou enriched so many lives. Such a beautiful story of man and his best friend.
