I didn't enjoy this book though I found it intriguing. Lamott spends too much time hyper-focused on how dark and broken we all are and her lack of focus on the good that can come from suffering bummed me out. The plot was more like a soap opera than a novel to me. I wouldn't recommend it. Read full review
