In the Absence of AngelsIn 1981, Elizabeth Glaser, wife of TV's Starsky and Hutch star Paul Michael Glaser, contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion and unknowingly passed the virus on to her two children. In 1988, Elizabeth's daughter Ariel died of AIDS. Elizabeth has since devoted herself to lobbying Congress for pediatric AIDS research and funding. Photographs. |
