This may be the most important book on central banking and the Federal Reserve System to ever slip through the cracks of history.

The Fed was created in 1913
, of course, and in this 1912 book the inside story is told, the terrible consequences are predicted and the names within Wall Street and Congress behind the power grab of the U.S. money supply by private banking interests is laid bare by whistleblowers from regional banks without resorting to romanticized tales as prominently featured in other illuminating tomes about the Fed such as The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin. In short, this book is long on evidence and short on speculation.

Most importantly, the book offers an alternative to the Federal Reserve System intended to serve essentially the same functions but in a manner that is democratic, transparent and accountable - exactly what we need!
