Second to the Bible itself my favorite book. The story transcends
the world and brings the reader into a realm, Venus, where Lewis
can sculpt a landscape and mode of existence which takes the reader
midway to God. A place where there is no curse and where Ransom,
the protagonist can be the everyman exposing how out of his element
we all would be. The language is inspiring and the storyline compelling
but the end of the book is phenomenal, I have read the ending many many
times because the words, are in my opinion, inspired by GOD. The second
book in the trilogy, but stands alone as a masterwork.I love this book!
