About the author (2002)

Claire Aldridge, Ph.D. received her bachelor of science degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University; she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Immunology and the University Program in Genetics at Duke University in 1996. Claire was an invited speaker at the Ninth International Congress of Immunology in San Francisco, CA, in July 1995. She is an author of Microbiology and Immunology, a Kaplan publication, and has written numerous scientific articles. She currently works for the Office for Technology Development at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center of Dallas.
