About the author (2004)

Klingenberg is a graduate of Colorado State University Veterinary School. He has authored dozens of papers on herpetoculture and herpetological medicine. Dr. Klingenberg is on the advisory board of the International Herpetological Symposium.

Barker is a graduate biologist with experience with amphibians and reptiles. She has an expansive herpetological background including training and work in zoo herpetological collections, museum collections and feild research. She owns Vida Preciosa International, Inc., the largest and most diverse collection of pythons in the world.
