Branley is a co-founder of the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series. He is Astronomer Emeritus and former Chairman of the American Museum-Hayden Planetarium.

KEVIN O'MALLEY is the author and illustrator of many books, but this is the first project where has only been the writer. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with his wife and two sons. www.booksbyomalley.com
PATRICK O'BRIEN is the author and illustrator of nine books for children. He dreamed up the concept of dinosaurs in spacesuits many years ago, but it was the irrepressibly zany mind of Kevin O'Malley who finally created the interstellar hero Captain Raptor.
