This is a thoughtful, insightful, and in fact profound book on many levels. It may appear simplistic as it is easy to read. This is misleading however and the book explores many deep issues thoughtfully and in ways I had not considered in my past readings. I consider this book a Christian classic and I will read it over and over again.
This book is universal in themes and explores many modern dilemmas and issues we all face. I particularly liked the way Nicholl approaches the issue of suffering. It is illuminating and satisfying.
This book contains so many nuggets of truth. Nicholl is a deeply humble man and this underlies everything he has to say. This book has indeed been the highlight of my summer reading this year.
