About the author (1991)

Jack and Judy Balswick teach at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Judy, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and Jack, a sociologist, are the authors of several books including The Family.

Balswick is director of clinical training and associate professor of marital and family therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary. She holds a Ed.D. from the University of Georgia.
