About the author (1992)

John Peel was born in Nottingham, England, in 1954. He attended Carlton le Willows Grammar School, in Gedling, Nottingham, England. At the young age of 10 he started writing stories. Peel moved to New York in 1981 to marry his pen-pal, Nan Taylor. His career seems to work typically backwards: he has just finished his 97th novel, but "Revenge Is a Dish..." was his first short story sale. Peel has written under various pen names including Nicholas Adams, John Vincent, Rick North and J.P. Trent.
