I read this book at the age of 13 after seeing the Perseid meteor showers that August. I understood Asimov's explanation of the universe so well because of the straightforward way he explained it. One of the most influential books I ever read. I enjoyed every word, and I didn't want it to end. Read full review

The only physics book I have ever read. A little out of date, but accurate and immersive. Isaac Asimov the non fiction writer seemed (to me) to write more passionately than Asimov the sci-fi novelist. Read full review
