The partial bit of this book that I read was intriguing. I agree happiness is difficult to define and a broad range of factors affect a person's happiness. Is happiness truly attainable in the physical world or is it just a faith-based concept that we are constantly seeking? Is happiness just a concept to keep us from focusing on how unhappy we truly are-the proverbial carrot on a stick? I have no idea and I don't think that anybody truly knows the recipe for happiness, or if there even is one. I think it is human nature to be happy some of the time and unhappy some of the time. If anybody were truly happy all of the time they'd probably be diagnosed with a mental illness by our medical community.
