Edward Steichen: Lives in Photography
Edward Steichen (18791973) is unquestionably one of the most prolific, versatile, influential and indeed controversial names in the history of photography. This volume, published to accompany the first posthumous European retrospective of his work, traces Steichens career trajectory from his early Pictorialist beginnings to his time working with Condé Nast and his Directorship at The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
