About the author (2004)

Kathryn Gray is a certified math teacher with over 15 years experience with the Fort Worth Independent School District. She has taught every elementary grade level and served as a math coach. Along with teaching on the elementary level, she also works as an adjunct professor with ITT and Tarrant Community College. Ms. Gray holds a Master Degree in Mathematics and Science and another in Curriculum Development. Wilhelmina Dean is a certified math and special education teacher with over 16 years experience in middle and high school. She has also worked as an academic adviser at a community college. Mrs. Dean holds a Master degree in Guidance and Counseling along with several certifications in Maryland and Virginia. Together the sisters have a passion to see children learn. They believe that learning must be cross curricular and applicable.
