I thought this was a really great book. Here's why:
It started every chapter with explaining what will be covered, allowing you to skip it if irrelevant. It ended every chapter with a summary of what you have learned, just to recap, and if you're in a rush you can get a okay sense of the chapter (or section) from it.
Definitions were bolded and made a different colour, letting you zone in on the important.
The chapter structure was logical: history first (though in my opinion a little boring), then goes more in depth with the various branches of psychology.
I borrowed this book for my 101 class and got an A, but honestly I almost wish I had bought it. Enjoy!
