The story from Lisa Wiener Mahfuz was interesting because she said she was of different races, but Jews and Arabs are racially white in the USA where she is from. Then she seemed perplexed as to why women of color told her to go to the white group for discussion. She even has white skin color. Though she spoke about prejudice her relatives experience for being Jews and Arabs, it would have been more inciteful to hear her argument as to why or how she perceived herself as a different race and if she focused on the definitions rather than on the people she had come across over time.
