Wanted Men: A Western DuoWalt Coburn is known and admired for capturing the cow country and re-creating it just as it was passing from sight. "Broken Wings" takes us to northern New Mexico, where a revolution is in progress near the port of San Quentin. But it is an unusual revolution inspired by an American industrialist who wants to get his hands on a fabulous cache of gold. In "Wanted Men," Bart has been the ward of old man Haddock and has known nothing but cruelty and scorn. So when a rustler is caught and held prisoner at the ranch, Bart arranges his escape - if he'll take Bart with him. When old man Haddock offers a reward for Bart's return, Bart sets out on a lengthy journey that brings him to the New Mexico Territory. |
