An interesting and very well-written work on the era of religious wars - worthy of recommendation. What I enjoyed most were certain observations of Dunn's - for example, his illustration of Michelangelo's transition from Renaissance perfection of form to mannerism - that could be expected from no one less than a specialist in the given field.
