'Why the hell are you here?' Captain Ty Hamilton knows the woman hates him, especially since he'd tried to sabotage her military career. All those years ago, the formidable Rachel Trayhern had fought back and won. Ty paid a high price for his arrogance. Now they're stationed at the same base in Afghanistan. Worse, she's been assigned to his unit. In five years, he's changed enough to feel ashamed of how he'd behaved. He wishes he could apologise, but Rachel's steely demeanour holds him at bay. Suddenly, a mission gone awry leaves Ty and Rachel stranded in enemy territory. And with their lives at stake, old hatreds become trivial and new - and unexpected feelings awaken.

About the author (2012)

As a homeopath, Lindsay McKenna writes books that introduce people to alternative medicine. Living in twenty-two places in seven states during the first eighteen years of her life provided her with a backdrop for her fictional writing. A US Navy veteran, she was a meteorologist while serving her country. Coming from an Eastern Cherokee heritage, she likes to write about Native Americans and introduce people to the world as she lives it. At age nine, her father introduced her to healing concepts that she utilizes to this day. Continuing to capture the beauty of our earth, Lindsay is an amateur photographer and can always be found out hiking in nature recording our natural world. As always, she loves to hear from her readers at mink82841@mypacks.net.
