Excellent book on getting to know the history of Connecticut's largest metropolitan area of south-western Fairfield County. The understanding and background of the Greater Bridgeport region is a nuance of historical non-fiction and early American achievement's. From the focus on indigenous occupants to the early New England settlers of this area this book achieves it's highest goals of outlining where what now remains in this city and surroundings began with. I highly recommend this for anyone searching to uncover the epoch's of pre-colonialism through to the industrial age of the late 19th. century of the place we know today as the "Park City".
