Review: Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience

User Review  - Mostafa Siraj - Goodreads

The book is not very actionable. It's more of stories (actually too many stories) of how other people achieved flow (even that they had extra boring jobs or impaired somehow). I didn't find the book very useful. Read full review

If it had been 40 pages instead of 300, without all the self-helpish wallow and repeated examples, I would have given it 5 stars. Great ideas, unfortunately very boring book. Didn't really learn much new about 'flow' that I hadn't picked up on Wikipedia or other random places. Read full review
