The foundations of game theory were laid by John von Neumann, who in 1928 proved the basic minimax theorem, and with the 1944 publication of the Theory of Games and Economic Behavior, the field was established. This book (as mentioned in the title) is a non-technical introduction and this makes it useful for readers with various backgrounds. A group of very good questions at the beginning of the chapters are able to make the text more challenging.
