The second relates to the integration of India into the world economy in trade in goods, in ideas, and capital flows. These essays are prescriptive, aimed at Indian policymakers they offer suggestions on policy options to consider and choices to make. They describe the global trading context and the opportunities and constraints that India faced and importantly how quickly these change.
