(A sequel to Call Down the Hawk: The Bryan Factor, Trafford Publishing, 2004) When Seth Cane, small town Oklahoma lawyer took his daughter to enter her into school in Washington D.C., on March 2 of 1913, he couldn't have anticipated being recruited to go undercover to Mexico City to investigate allegations that the U.S. Ambassador might have been active in overthrow of the government there and possibly involved in the murder of the president and vice-president. He and his friend Handsome Comfort, a former Texas Ranger are sent to Mexico to give the American President and Secretary of State some answers. They use the cover of seeking claims against the Mexican government for Americans killed in the ten day fighting to overthrow the Francisco Madero by General Victoriano Huerta. The situation is complicated by the Mexican dictator's regime being under attack by three disparate rebel armies. In Mexico only a few days they find themselves involved in revolutionary activities and in addition, contending with the dictator, Huerta's secret police. All of which are distractions from their delicate mission to investigate their host's connections with the overthrow and murder of the former president.
