Good book, very interesting topic. A must read for anyone interested in human nature. The reason for three stars is that I found the author very self congratulatory.

took me FOREVER to get through this, but it wasn't boring. it was very detailed though, so maybe that's why. in any case, Zimbardo makes and EXCELLENT case for social situations playing a large role in getting "normal" people to do horrible things like torture, rape, beatings, etc...
