About the author (2000)

Poet and author Carole Gerber has written fifteen picture books and more than one hundred elementary science and reading texts. She holds a BS in English education and an MA in journalism from Ohio State University. When she is not writing, Gerber enjoys gardening, traveling, and practicing yoga. She lives in Powell, Ohio.
