The quickest way to add tang and zest to a meal is to jazz it up with one of the 30 recipes found in Salsas, Dips, and Relishes. Elsa Petersen-Schepelern borrows from great world cuisines and mixes them together in her inimitable style to create such intoxicating combinations as Papaya Chile Salsa, Avocado Chile Salsa, Okra Salsa with Mustard Seed Relish, and Thai Pesto with Cilantro, Basil, Lime, and Chile -- all captured in Peter Cassidy's vibrant photographs. With flavors so bold and combinations so fresh, you'll even forget they're good for you.

great for a salsa basket gift

User Review  - leslie1234 -

I packed this colorful hardbound salsa book into a basket with a food chopper and the ingredients for a nice salsa recipe and it was a terrific basket. The book is a nice size thin and colorful and the recipes seemed quite great. Thanks overstock for another great deal. Read full review
