Freddy to the Rescue
In the third installment of the increasingly popular Golden Hamster Saga, Freddy is not only an author, but also a hero. It is a grand adventure -- as only Freddy Auratus can write it!
For Freddy Auratus, being civilized comes with responsibilities. So when he learns that a colony of endangered field hamsters is at risk, he takes action. But it's Freddy's own life -- and his most valuable secret -- that is put in jeopardy when, along with a wise tomcat and a pair of guinea pig poets (turned Opera divas), he takes on City Hall (and some bulldozers). Will Freddy's hamsteritarian mission be his last?

Freddy is a golden hamster of the highest order. As part of a superior breed, he'd sooner go into Eternal Hibernation than waste his life in a pet shop. With the conviction of the brilliant, he sets out on a daring quest for freedom, literacy, and a more dignified existence. Read full review
This is my third Freddy book, the golden hamster saga.
Some may think, right, a book about a hamster, silly.
Until you read and realize Freddy is more real than those you know in real life. I plan to read all Freddy books and reread them yearly. I highly recommend this series for children and adults who think hamsters (and guinea pigs) are boring!
