About the author (2002)

Nelson Copp is co-author of Cycling San Diego and Wilderness Basics, and is a popular lecturer, teaching Map & Compass Navigation and GPS classes for many San Diego groups. Along with biking, his interests include hiking, backpacking, surfin, cross-country skiing, and chasing eclipses all over the globe.
