David CoffeyWriter and historian David Coffey teaches history at Texas Christian University and McMurry University. His writing credits include John Bell Hood and the Struggle for Atlanta, on which he has been invited to speak at the Texas Book Festival, and contributions to reference works on the Vietnam War and the U.S.-Mexican War. Coffey is currently the managing editor of the McWhiney Foundation Press in Abilene, Texas. Donald S. FrazierDonald S. Frazier, the Executive Director of the McWhiney Foundation, was a journalist before moving to Abilene in 1993 to assume teaching and administrative duties at McMurry University. His books, Blood and Treasure: Confederate Empire in the Southwest and Cottonclads! The Battle of Galveston and the Defense of the Texas Coast are highly acclaimed for their readability and his classroom work is known for his unconventional approach to history. He is also the editor for the MacMillan reference anthology The U.S. and Mexico at War: Nineteenth Century Expansionism and Conflict.
