I bought and read this book back when it was published 13 years ago and recently picked it back up and read it again - it is a fun and easy, disarming way to learn about birds and the joys of birdwatching. I highly recommend this book. If you're an ornithologist it may be a tiny bit too easy of a read, but if you are like me, an avid birdwatcher, but by no means a bird professional - BUY it! You'll be glad you did.
